What is a CACI facial?
The facial itself is an LED light therapy where warm, coloured light penetrates deep into the skin. Micro current facial toning is then combined with the light therapy to regenerate tissue and help repair collagen. The CACI facial can be described as a MOT for your face thanks to lymphatic drainage, peeling, cleansing and toning and it also works to banish deep lines, giving you the appearance of younger looking skin.
How often should you have a CACI facial?
Its recommended 2/3 times a week with a rest day in between. If you only able to come in 1/2 times a week you will still see results just not as quick as you might like.
Following on from a course of we then can then put you onto a maintenance program which will consist of a treatment every 4/6 weeks.
Can anyone have a CACI facial?
The majority of clients will be suitable for CACI treatments but there are some contraindications for CACI treatments, the main ones are:
* Pregnancy.
* Pacemaker.
* Heart conditions.
* Diabetes (insulin dependent)
* Epilepsy.
* Cancer.
* Tumours
* Allergy to rubber/metal/sillicone
* Skin diseases
* Botox
How long does CACI facial last?
A one off treatment for an event or occasion will last around 5 days. A course is always recommended for long lasting results. There is no recovery time for this facial and pretty straight forward for after care. The reason the course is recommended is there is different strengths to work up to, we can’t go straight in with full power or it could create discomfort or unwanted results.
Is CACI painful?
Not at all! Microcurrent treatment is virtually sub-sensory with just a slight tingling sensation, often described as a warm feeling, and is completely painless. As a non-surgical procedure, it works in tune with your natural body movements to stimulate the muscles. Some clients experience a metallic taste or a fuzzy sensation when a muscle is being worked on but these are a very minimal number of clients.
What aftercare is required?
There isn’t much aftercare for most its their everyday or easy to adjust.
* Avoid wearing make-up for 6 hours unless it’s mineral make-up
* 2. Avoid swimming or exercise for 24 hours pre or post treatment
* 3. Skin can feel sensitive to steam or hot showers for 6 hours after treatment
* 4. Avoid sunbeds or sunbathing 24-48 hours before your treatment and 5 day after your treatment
* 5. No laser or IPL 2 weeks pre or post treatment
* 6. Wear SPF 30+ daily
